How this activity is built
Every Digital & Dirt activity moves through the same seven stages. The theme — listening to a friend — is the vehicle. The skill being built is Active Listening, and that never changes, whatever the theme.

Written for 2nd grade, ages 5–8
Reading level, vocabulary, and the amount of writing expected are all set for Grade 2. Progression 2 controls difficulty independently of grade — the same skill can be pitched easier or harder without changing who it’s written for.
